I get to eat unbelievable Asian food all over the world, San Francisco, New York, Sydney, Chicago, Boston, others. I love how Asian families come to America and make their way with their America's version of Chinese.
Chinese Dragon of Duluth is one of my favorites, a true $1 sign 4 star Americanized Asian food restaurant. Consider what that means and what food to expect. The lobster soon is to die for, the hot and sour soup gooey sticky yum. Anything on the menu is a campy take, always served piping hot and fresh. I've been eating here for the better part of 15 years at least and that takes a lot.
Someone has a nasty campaign going with pictures in Yelp. Don't hesitate to eat at CDD. Eating lunch here now, pics attached. -

The worst service and food imaginable.
Stay away from the chicken if you value your life. Normally, I don't review things. Even more so, give bad reviews. I hate being that guy that calls to complain, or sending back food because the order is messed up. But man, this place didn't even try to give us a pleasant experience. It's like sadists decided to open a restaurant to find people to make unhappy. Congrats, Chinese Dragon. You succeeded.
Ordered King Pow Chicken. After almost two hours (they told us it would be an hour), what arrived was cold and tasted like it was dug up from some crypt. When I called the restaurant, they gave us the run around. They didn't want to make it right. They didn't care. They refused to do anything to fix it.
Avoid this place if you enjoy Chinese food, or eating, or believing humans aren't awful. -

The hostess/server was very friendly and welcoming. She made me feel like I was home. My food was decent, but chicken was a little dry. I wouldn't mind trying other dishes though like the Mongolian Beef if I get a chance to come back.

Delicious Chinese food! This place is a small whole-in-the-wall restaurant. The seating is minimal but we got our food to go. The food was very good and the portions were very generous! We walked in and ordered our food to go, it was ready very quickly!

Although the food tastes average and the serving sizes are healthy, the service is the worst I have experienced (I have lived here for 24 years). The restaurant is continually understaffed, and the staff that do interact with customers are abrasive and unwelcoming. So if you're looking for subpar chunks of alleged chicken that is extensively deep-fried, while being spoken down to by a under-educated brat, look no further.
